How to tell a good pen device from a repack
Coffee in Dhaka reaches the shelf in pen device formats, and the discounted ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
We run coffee the same way in Dhaka: same pen device, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 14 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a coffee pen device really costs in Dhaka
The honest read on coffee: 14 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested coffee in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–9 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Bangladesh, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a coffee bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Bangladesh, not a suggestion.
Where coffee goes wrong
- Mixing coffee with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bangladesh accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why coffee tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here

How much does a pen device cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Dhaka: about Tk2.81 per 10 ml liquid plus Tk66 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does coffee taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the coffee blend itself harsh.
